a monk

there was a monk who was a junior monk back then,

he was asked to build a wall nearby monastery by a senior monk.

day and night he worked hard for the wall in order to ensure the wall is built vertically from the ground.

upon the wall fully built after some days, he realized that one brick was popping out from the wall itself and its terribly an eye sore for him,

he consulted the senior monk as to whether is there a necessity to demolish the wall and built it once again... the senior monk declined..

So, whenever there are visitors came by the monastery, he will purposely avoid from walking pass the wall...

one day, a visitor noted the wall and he told the monk that the wall is beautiful, the monk cant get it and asked the visitor that how come a brick popping out from a wall considered beautiful...

the visitor said albeit a brick popped out but how about the rest of the bricks that constituted the lovely wall?

the monk enlightened and in his sight now, the wall is beautiful and special because of the popped brick.

there are different perspective in everyone of us.. you might get stuck sometime but dont worry because there will be someone enlighten you... and try to think the brighter side , who knows you might have a brand new perspective in viewing the world at large..
